long time no update. [27 Aug 2005|11:32pm]
I totally forgot about this place... anyway I got my A levels (2Bs and 3Cs) and I got the grades to get onto the course at Newcastle which is good, even though I liked both the same and I've got all my accommodation stuff as well so as of the 24th of September I will be (finally) living in Newcastle and my flat is only 3 minutes from St James'.

Not really much to say about Newcastle at the moment, I'm sure it's just the usual start of season blip and it'll start picking up around the end of september as usual, well as long as the chairman doesnt pull he favourite sack the manager before the end of August trick we should be ok, the signings look good even if he has got rid of a few of our better players e.g. Bellers.

anywho... Scott Parker spam:

I found this in our local newspaper:

I have no idea why he'd want to go to Hertford... it's just a small town full of banks and restaurants really.

It's also here

To celebrate my last ever day at school... at last! I think theseCollapse ) need to be posted.

I've put my foot right in it, I've told the guys I spend Friday lunchtime in the pub with that I could down pints in one go so they're chllenging me to it tomorrow when school finishes. I'll let it go flat first then I'll be able to down it no problem.

I just realised I havent updated for ages, my lap top has to have a new motherboard and I've had 3 pieces of coursework to do, study leave begins on Friday, thank God for that.

Anyway back to football, a draw wasnt a bad result i suppose but looks like Laurent is definitly not going to be with us next season I hope he goes to an English club so he can come back, the kit thing was funny though.

Can't believe we've gone from 5th to 14th in the table, quite ironic after Bobby was sacked after we had finished 5th and got to the UEFA cup semi last season.

I got my exam results back on Friday from the Janurary exams, they were surprsingly good (for me anyway) so going to Newcastle uni in September doesnt seem so much of a pipe dream anymore.

I got:
A2- Geography- A
Business and Economics- B

AS retakes- RE- C
Geo- B

AS General studies- B

I hope Newcastle beat Spurs today, Alan Shearer deserves to win the FA cup more than anyone else... also I live in Spurs territory and if they win then I will never hear the end of it. I think we will win as it's at home and Spurs don't seem to travel well at the moment.

According to the mirror the players in Dubai are misbehaving... and Souness and his backroom staff are the ones leading the way with private bookies and bars at night. Why am I not surprised? Also in the Mail there's a picture of Bowyer with some girl in a bar out there.
And they can't blame Kieron for once because he's in Newcastle.

Olli's been sold to Southampton for £400 000. He's worth so much more than that. I just hope he gets a regular spot in the Southampton team now. I'm going to miss seeing Laurent and Olli having their little chats in the middle of games and confusing everyone else because they're chatting away in French.

Also Bellers has gone to Celtic on a 6 month loan with an option to buy after the 6 months... so if Souness is still here at the end of the season Bellers will probably stay there and if Souness goes then who knows what might happen.

Bellers. [31 Jan 2005|10:47am]
He's not going to Birmingham so it looks like he's not going anywhere until the summer at least. Even Kieron Dyers sticking up for him.

Bellers is off to Birmingham, our best player out of the club and now we're down to three strikers. 1 of which is retiring, 1 who more than likely won't be here next year and 1 who isn't as good as everyone thought he would be.
I'm wondering if they're going to bring Chopra back from Barnsley or if we're going to draft in an emergancy striker.

Well makes the Palace v Birmingham game I'm going to more interesting now.

This Bellers stuff is getting slightly out of hand now, I'm hoping that the fine will be enough and that they sort out their differences, my doubts about Souness are coming back again, and I was just beginning to think he wasnt that bad.

I can't believe Birmingham think they're going to get Olli for £400,000, Speedy who is about 10 years older than Olli went to Bolton for more than that. I still think we shouldnt ofsold Speedy.

Newcastle uni informed me today that I have been invited to an open day in two weeks time on the 9th of Feb so I've got to work out a way of getting to and from Stansted Airport as my Dad's in Reading that day and my Mum's decided to be awkward and is refusing to drive me there.

Shay Given should of got Man of the Match for that. I'm sorry but Viera? He seemed to spend more time on the floor and trying to get our players sent off than actually playing.

Bellers has done a Kieron Dyer... is the right wing really that bad?
Ok I kind of see his point Bellers and Shearer should of been up front and Ameobi on the bench with 2 central defenders whether it be Dyer, JJ or Bowyer and maybe one of them on the right and then either Robert or N'Zogbia on the left.
Either way I agree with Souness for putting him in his place for complaining, he should be greatful for being on the team sheet in the first place really.

1-0 was a pretty good result considering it could of been more like 4-0 if this was a couple of months ago. At least we beat Southampton which is more than what Liverpool can do at the moment. I'm just going to be glad to see the back of this season to be totally honest, maybe next year will be better.

General studies was as suspected a complete waste of time, the maths part was surprisingly easy considering I havent had a Maths lesson for about 3 years and havent looked at anything mathmatical since but comenting on toll motorways and pollution emissions was enough to send me to sleep.

Although I managed to make the horsey girl at school look pretty stupid when she said she wanted 'Daddy' to buy her an Aston Martin, I then asked if she liked the Aston Martin "Carrera GT (the carrera GT being a porsche) to which she replied "Yes! I really like that car." Oh dear.

Apparently they're going to use Robert as a make weight to get Distin to Newcastle but somehow I can't see it happening because a)Man City don't want to lose their captain and probably best defender and b) I really can't see Robert at Man City somehow. Stranger things have happened I suppose.

I hate transfer time, you can never keep track on whos coming or going.

Newcastle uni have offered me a place and Northumbria sent me all this accomodation and open day stuff today. That has just made my day... all 30 minutes left of it. Shame I have 2 1/2 hours worth of General studies in exam form tomorrow morning.
I should be flying up for the Northumbria open day on either March 16th or April 13th.

Coventry at home, I'm so happy about that draw. So happy that the whole of Hertford knew about it.

I've made some Robert and JJ icons and put them in my icons post, feel free to use any you want. I really must get and learn to use the animation programme we have at school when I can actually get on a computer at school, the network sucks.

Also I know that the News of the World isn't the most accurate source in the world but:

Laurent Robert will sign a new contract at Newcastle. (News of the World)

Yeading v Newcastle [09 Jan 2005|07:07pm]
Overall it was a good match, I ruined my nails int he first half by biting them everytime Yeading went forwards. Loftus road was not designed for anyone over 5ft 5 as the seats have no leg room what so ever not that it mattered as everyone in the Newcastle stand stood up for the whole match and thankfully unlike spurs they dont make you sit down.

I have to give credit to Yeading, I can see why they're runaway leaders of their league, their midfield is strong and their goal keeper was pretty good thankfully we found some form in the second half. Babayaro linked up really well with Robert, shame he tore a muscle though as Milner had to come on and he can't keep a ball in play at the moment, he'll improve.

Boumsong was much better in the second half and I think N'Zogbia was too small compared with their midfield hense Ambrose came on.

I tried to get any of Bellers, Shay, Robert and JJ's autographs but there was about a million little kids in the way. I never realised how short Bellers is, he's tiny, bless! Laurent Robert is also a lot smaller than I thought he was.

Our seats were in line with the goal we scored both goals in but we were second row from the back, the view wasnt that bad actually except for the kid in front waving his Newcastle flag around in the air so no one behind him could see.

It was good though and the first time I actually got to be with the other Newcastle supporters as living so close to London we tend to only be able to get tickets in the home sections like at Palace and Spurs last year.

In other news I'm going to the Yeading match with Dad tomorrow, although he's still moping because Crystal Palace didn't beat Sunderland. Personally I think he only wants to go to the match tomorrow because it gets him out of the decorating.

[ mood | okay ]

I'm semi pleased with the Blackburn result, Good to see Dyer and Robert scoring let's hope they've shut their critics up for a while. Still our Defence is in tatters but lets hope that all changes in January.

Using the all in one printer/scanner/copier thing I got for Christmas I went mad and uploaded all my non digital photos... anyway I had some from Newcastle on there and they are here:

It includes an embarrassing photo of my friend Andy and me with red hair which I no longer have on the bridge trying to look blind as it would appear, I think looking like pirates was the desired effect but it didnt work.

Still hope for Laurent [23 Dec 2004|01:19pm]
I still think he will go but at least he will have a chance to prove himself on Sunday.

Lets hope he actually takes the chance and proves his worth... until the summer anyway.

I'm jealous of where the kid in the yellow Newcastle shirt is standing but I also feel sorry for them, it can't be nice being in hospital over Christmas.
